80 Fun Things Your Family Can Do at Home During the COVID-19 Quarantine

Wow! This is definitely a unique time in history! So many things have changed over the past while, one of them being that families are now pretty much staying at home while in quarantine for Covid-19.

I've been thinking about you and wanted to do what I could to help you strengthen your family family during this crazy time.

I firmly believe that this crazy time is also a TREMENDOUS GIFT for our families to reconnect, to bond at deeper levels, and come out stronger and better because of it all.

So today, I've got a list of 80 fun things your family can do at home during the COVID-19 quarantine. Let's make the most of it!

1

Indulge in a family read-aloud. This can fill time each day for several days. Then start a new book!

2

Have a dance party

3

Compete in contests, such as cooking contest, paper airplane contest, lego building contest...

4

Make a bucket list - one for thing to do while in quarantine, and another for things to do after...

Here's an idea - whenever someone in your family expresses a wish of something they could do right now, have them write it down on a small piece of paper and put it in a large vase or jar, so that when the quarantine is all over, voila, you have a family bucket list of things you've been longing to do!

5

Teach older kids how to change a tire, change the oil, and the windshield wiper fluid on a car

6

Make crafts

7

Play card games and board games

8

Bake something yummy together

9

Put on a talent show

10

Build a fort in the family room

11

Make a note of encouragement and take it along with a small handful of treats like Hershey's kisses and leave it on the doorstep of a neighbor

I made two options you can use. Feel free to download them and print off as many as you'd like. The Uchtdorf quote comes on a page of 4, and the Havel quote comes on a page of 6. Have fun spreading hope and encouragement!
