Help Your Child Gain a Love of Writing
with Writing Journals for Kids
Kids who can express themselves freely through writing gain a powerful view of who they are, and discover that they have a voice.
I wanted a place where my child could share her thoughts, get excited about the ideas she was having, and have a place where it was safe and inviting to put them all down on paper.
I didn't want just a writing notebook that taught the basics of writing. Nor did I want the instruction of nouns and verbs, or the requirement to write in a certain style or format get in the way. In my search I hadn't yet found anything that fit the bill, so I decided to create it myself.
These two writing journals, "Just Me and My Thoughts" and "Me, My Thoughts, and I" are more than just writing notebooks.
They are a fun and special place for your child to put their thoughts. To make it their own. To be as creative or as logical as they want. To have an open venue to express themselves.
And the cool thing is that along the way, they learn to love writing. They learn that they are good at it. And they gain a willingness to learn how to get better at it. That's a total win/win in my book!
There are 2 writing journals for kids:
"Me, My Thoughts and I" and "Just Me and My Thoughts"
The two journals are similar in layout, yet each journal's prompts are different.

Hi there, I'm Myra
I'm a happy mom of 5 awesome kids, and I've been homeschooling for the past 24 years. I love it!
We used these writing journals in a homeschool co-op class called "Ignite" and the kids LOVED them! They excitedly wrote in them and couldn't wait to share what they wrote with their friends.
I'm certain that the kids in your life who use these writing journals will love them, too.
My son is bright but dislikes writing and he came over to see the videos as I watched and said, "I like those, I think I would enjoy those." So, I jumped on it. :)

One of my favorite parts of the (Ignite) class are the writing books that Myra has created. That was a skill that my son needed some help with, and he actually loves writing in those books! There are all kinds of interesting writing prompts and the books are colorful and full of interesting pictures and topics, so the effect is to really draw the kids in.

I love these journals! They really spark my imagination. I love the photo responses the best. I also love sharing what I write with others.

My favorite part, as his mother, has been to see his love of writing grow as he has been diligent in making entries in his writing journal.
