Hi, there friend! Oh, do I have some great product ideas for you to help you give yourself some great self-care! If you're a mom you will love these things for yourself, or if you're here looking for ideas for a wonderful woman in our life, well, let's just say you've hit the jackpot!

My #1 Recommendation: Nekteck Neck and Back Massager with Soothing Heat

Oh man… I use this EVERY night before I go to bed. My neck/shoulder muscles get so tight during the day, that in order to sleep really well I just love relaxing them with this massager. My husband bought it for me for my birthday last year and it’s definitely a winner! Love this thing.

Dimmer Light Switches

This is something I really wanted and my husband surprised me with them for Christmas. Coolest thing ever. If I’m up in the night I can turn on just barely enough light to see what I’m doing and not get blinded.

These are super great to have all around the house –

Imagine this: It’s getting close to bedtime, and just like the sun starts to go down, your house lights start to get a little dimmer. And you know what dimmed lighting means? Yep, natural melatonin production… Yup, kids will naturally start to get sleepy. This is a huge help in getting the family to bed at a decent time.

Also for those nights when you’re up in the night with a sick child or nursing a baby, being able to turn the lights on low gives such pleasant, peaceful, calming atmosphere. Super helpful.
And yes, it can help provide even romantic lighting when you want it to be. 🙂

Dimmer Light Bulbs

Here are dimmable LED vanity light bulbs. Be mindful, however, depending on your situation (power supply) LED dimmable light bulbs may buzz. These light bulbs claim to not buzz. But for our bathroom, we opted to go with regular vanity incandescent bulbs instead.

A Great Journal

I love the simplicity of this journal. The leather cover has such a great texture. I love the feel of it. The colors are so rich and lovely and I love how the elastic holds it closed. I really enjoy these journals. My thought… my heart…

Gel Pens

These are honestly my favorite pens. Once I tried them I was hooked and ditched all my old pens. They write so well and look so great on paper. I love the colors, I love the richness and the smoothness of the ink.

Curel Lotion

My favorite lotion. My hands get very dry and this is the lotion that does it for me. I love that it’s fragrance-free as well. Good stuff.

Kukui Coconut lotion

It says it’s an after-bath moisturizer and I’m certain it’s good for that. But I love it so much and love that it has such simple and pronouncable ingredients (more natural) that I use it as a face moisturizer before I put on my make up. I really love this lotion. Use it how you want. It’s good stuff.

Battery Operated Candles

There’s nothing like candles to change the mood of a room – and the mood of a mama’s heart. So peaceful and rejuvenating.

DoTerra Past Tense Essential Oil Tension Blend Roll-on Oil

THIS oil has saved me from Many a headache. You see, stress just seems to just go straight to my neck. Tight, painful, unhappy neck. Then bam, I’ve got a whopping headache.

This past-tense comes in a little tube with a roll-on tip, so you just take off the lid and roll the oil onto your skin. Mmmm I think it smells lovely and it works to soothe my neck muscles every time.

DoTerra Deep Blue Rub

This stuff is also magical. It works very similarly to Past-Tense, but its smell isn’t quite so potent. And it’s like a lotion so you squeeze it out then rub it on your skin. Also really good stuff.

DoTerra Lemon Essential Oil

Somehow the smell of lemon is so clarifying. So restful and clearing. Sometimes I put a couple of dabs of lemon oil on my neck just so I can smell it wherever I go. And of course, diffusing it through your house does wonders for everyone’s mood.

Diffuser for Essential Oils

This is my all-time favorite diffuser because it is SO quiet! I can hardly tell it’s on. It can run without its light on, or with it – which is super fun since the light changes color in a super calm and beautiful way. LOVE this diffuser.

Summer Thunder CD

Listening to the soft, pretty music that is accompanied by soothing rain and gentle thunder does wonders for my soul. Listening to it takes me away from things and helps me renew and be more peaceful.

OR you could just listen to rain and thunder. Some great sounds to fall asleep to.

Head Massager

Yep, such a simple thing, but simple pleasures can bring great calm and relief.

Epsom Salts for a foot bath

Oh my… grab a large stock pot from the kitchen (one large enough for your feet to fit into), fill it up with close-to-hot water, add 1/2 – 1 cup epsom salts, and stick your tired feet in there, mama.

Yep, it might take a little bit to get those toes willing to go in the water at that temperature, but the action of the heat and the epsom salts work wonders.

Of course, don’t burn yourself! But go for as warm as you can stand it. Let your feet soak for 15-20 minutes. Then dry off your feet and feel like a new person. (Plus it’s really great at getting off that crusty skin that’s on your heals sometimes. 🙂 ) Ahhhh….

Ear Stopples earplugs

Ok, this might seem like an odd self-care item to recommend for moms. But they are seriously one of my beloved things.

I am a SUPER light sleeper, and I have a really hard time falling asleep if there is ANY noise. So, these little babies do the trick for me. You can still hear enough things to be an attentive mom, but it blocks out enough that you can go to sleep. Great for naps, too.

They are probably a little different than what you’re used to but believe me, they work great.

Burt’s Bees beeswax lip balm

I used to have such a time with dry and cracked lips. No more. After trying several types of chapsticks, this is the one that has made all the difference.

Reusable Water Bottle just for you

As a mom, you gotta somehow remember to get enough water in you. Getting yourself a pretty reusable water bottle that belongs to only you is a great way to do it. You can take it with you from room to room and wherever you go. Voila. A hydrated mom is a happy mom. 🙂

This water bottle is BPA free, doesn’t smell plasticky, and comes in lots of pretty colors.
